An Introduction To The World Of Runescape

RuneScape is a free online Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) released by Jagex Games Studio. First released in 2001, RuneScape now has an average of 10 million accounts in use per month and over 150 million registered accounts in total, making it the world’s most popular free MMORPG.

Like other MMORPGs, RuneScape is an immersive online world where players create avatars, or in-game representations of themselves. These avatars can be customized according to gender, skin color, height, size and other attributes. Once created, the player goes on a series of quests in the game, achieving goals they set for themselves over the course of their play.

The action in the RuneScape community takes place in Gielinor, a medieval world divided into different kingdoms and cities. Players are able to travel from place to place on foot if they do desire, on ships and other means of transportation, or through the use of magical spells they can acquire as they become more experienced in the game.

RuneScape guides are available and provide different types of help to players. There are guides that teach the most basic skills and character movements to beginners so that they can become familiar with the game. There are also guides whose purpose is to teach players how to develop their skills and “level up” throughout the game. It is by “leveling up” that players increase the abilities of their avatars and progress throughout the game. This happens as players interact with their environment and engage in combat with the other players or the non-player characters in the game.

The RuneScape community is made up of forums that handle a range of different topics. On the website users have access to various RuneScape forums where they can interact with other players, vote in polls, sell or trade items they have collected in the game and suggest improvements for the future.

The most popular area in the RuneScape Forums is where users interact with one another to buy and sell items acquired in game. As each character becomes more specialized, they can use what they acquire most easily to trade with other in-game opponents. These items help players in their quests, whether they are seeking to engage non-player character monsters or other in-game players.

As with other MMORPGs, players are able to communicate with one another in a variety of ways. As mentioned before they can talk to each other in the RuneScape forums, but they can also talk to each other during the game as well, choosing to either collaborate with or compete against one another in mini-games and other activities in the game. There are occasional times when the choice is not given and players must cooperate with one another to achieve an objective.

Runescape Noob Guide

Runescape Guide

For a newbie player of Runescape, that is a player of levels 3-25, the best ways to make a large and steady flow of money would be to collect and sell one of the following raw materials via The Grand Exchange in Varroc: bones, wool or feathers. Below, I've elaborated on how lucrative each is.

Bones.

Bones are very easily available; go anywhere that players are training and the ground will be littered with them. It takes about five minutes in a cow pen to bag an inventory load of bones. That's about 2,000 gold pieces in five minutes. Store each load up in your bank for as long as you want before going to the Grand Exchange, the more you have the bigger the haul will be. On a good day you could make as much as 12- 14k in half an hour.

Bonus: Few people know about this so there is little competition; bones are like money lying all over the ground in the Runescape world.

Feathers.

Feathers are dropped by chickens when they are slain. Each chicken drops around 25 gp worth of feathers and 80 gp worth of bones. Most players can kill about 5 chickens in a minute. So you're making at least 525 gp a minute, probably more. In half an hour you can make about 6,000 gold pieces.

Bonus: You gain valuable combat experience points while making money.

Wool.

The most profitable way to earn is sheep shearing. Each parcel of wool is worth 150 gp. It takes about five seconds total to get one. Therefore, in five minutes you could gather and bank about 4,000 gold pieces worth. So, in a half hour you could make 24,000 gold pieces... that's quite a haul for so little effort.

Bonus: Few people use this as a source of income, so competition is low and the market is'nt saturated.

Above were the short term options to make cash. There are other long term ways that will bring in tons of cash, but only after months of tiresome skill training. If that's what you prefer you should train skills that produce items that the Runescape community depends on. For example, fishing is one of the best skills to train because players buy large quantities of expensive seafood to take to dangerous areas such as the Wilderness. Mining and smithing are good because players will always buy armor and weapons. You can make millions by taking such items to market, but getting the skill will take a very long time.

Please remember that there are no longer any ways to make "easy money" on Runescape via scams or cheating, so honesty and time investment are the best policy. Thanks for reading my article and I hope that this information helps you in your gaming.

Runescape Botting

Have you ever wanted to know about runescape bots, but all you found were people trying to scam you?
Would you like to know why that is?

It's because 99% of all so-called runescape bots are completely fake, yes fake!

Yes that's right, believe it or not, anyone trying to sell you an "autominer" or bot is just scamming you and you'll lose you money, guaranteed. Sorry but it's the truth!

What they really are, are viruses that infect your computer and record everything that you type in, then once it's recorded something, it sends the data the creator of the virus. So now you've lost your runescape account and probably a lot of credit card information as well.

Other ways which people try to gain access to your account, is when people say, that in order for it to work, they need to log into your account and set it up. In this case, there are no runescape bots, just someone claiming to have one when he really doesn't and wants access to your account.

Think about it, why would someone give away runescape bots for free? And don't believe them when they say "I used to be one of Jagex staff, and now I hate them so I'm releasing this for free". That's just a big lie.

So what do you do if someone offers you a runescape bot? You report them and ignore them.  Don't get sucked in, you've got so much to lose and so little to gain.
